I love new year resolutions-- I think it's healthy to focus on how life could be improved and to commit to those improvement. So I have some craft-related resolutions... - learn to crochet (great starter project)
- make Bailey's bed quilt (Oh, Fransson's paintbox quilt)
- try English Paper Piecing (excellent tutorial & hopefully make a quilt as beautiful as this)
- give a gift of a quilt (I've never given away a quilt-- this is a big step to separate with such a loved one!)
- make a quilt for my bedroom (either a simple white one or a "moody sea" one-- something similar to the top half of this quilt from Kim Eichler-Messmer)
- attend a craft show (just registered for Stitch & Craft in March! would really love to attend the Festival of Quilts in August at the NEC)
- do something with felt (thinking finger puppets)
- knit or sew a softie (similar to this)
I'd love to know what you're craftolutions are!

My craftolutions this year are simple: I want to finish as much WIPs as possible as there are several quilttops that need to be basted and quilted (My urge to try/start new stuff always gets in my way - I just started another english paper piecing project *lol*) and I want to learn stippling/free motion quilting.
ReplyDeleteyou should definitely go to the Festival of Quilts but sharpen your elbows ;-)
